The Best Picture I Ever Took

Sometimes we get lucky and a picture like this one happens.  It's the moment when you click the button and everything just happens to be right.  An accident.

I love this picture.  I love the way the light carries my eye from the top right where the light originates,  down in a sweeping curve over all those healthy young bodies,  from one hand to another and sliding up the bent leg on the right and off the tip of the toes.  My eyes don't know where to stop.  They bounce from one form to the next,  and every momentary pause is worth the visit.

I wish this kind of thing wasn't such an accident though.  It would be nice to think I had something to do with creating it.
