Can I eat your dog?

Note:  this was a joke.  We have eaten dog in China,  but it isn't all that common.  We ate it while visiting our friend Guo Wei's family in a small rural village,  because they had gone to great trouble and expense to provide the delicacy for us.  If you are interested,  dog tastes like..... well,  dog.  I'm not fond of it.  And it is a bit too close to cannibalism for my liking.
